Submitter notes: This brachiopod is not common in the formation. A very fragile thin shell makes collecting whole specimens difficult. This beauty has a holdfast attached to it and nearby rests a smaller Pholidostrophia brachiopod. The larger brachiopod measures 35mm x 31mm.

Submitter notes: A small brachiopod with a distinctive triangular shape that is common in the formation. The largest of the 11 specimens in the photo measures 11mm x 7mm and is 9.5mm high. The smallest is 4mm x 5.5mm and 4mm high.

Submitter notes: This un-described plant material can occur throughout the exposed Arkona Formation but is more common in certain horizons. Plump specimens are needed to show internal cell structure upon sectioning. In the photo, the widest specimen measures 25mm wide x 32mm long. The longest specimen is 42mm long x 17mm wide.

Submitter notes: This branching tetracoral is very common in the H.H. member but is usually found in pieces. It was reconstructed. A specimen of Thamnoptychis(Trachypora) branches within the Eridophyllum. The specimen measures 75mm X 76mm. The Thamnoptychis is 42mm long.
