Submitter notes: This example of Platyceras rarispinum from the Widder beds at Arkona, Ontario was the first gastropod that I found ever. It is also a nice example of the species.The snail is 1 3/4'(3.5 cm) high and wide.

Submitter notes: These Bactrities are common in the Arkona shale but rarely are they this complete due to the extremely soft shale. This is very delicate and a few more rain drops would have destroyed this association.

Submitter notes: This branching tetracoral is very common in the H.H. member but is usually found in pieces. It was reconstructed. A specimen of Thamnoptychis(Trachypora) branches within the Eridophyllum. The specimen measures 75mm X 76mm. The Thamnoptychis is 42mm long.
