Submitter notes: This large Platyceras has one of it\\\'s spines still attached. The \\\'snail\\\' itself is 1 & 3/4\\\'(4.5 cm) high by 1 & 1/2\\\'(3.8 cm) wide at the base. The spine is 3/4\\\'
(2.0 cm) long. This from the Alpena Limestone and another I have on this site is from Hungry Hollow in Canada.
