Submitter notes: A rare and sought after stemless blastoid that evolved to lay on the substrate. There is only one species worldwide for the genus Eleutherocrinus. This is a basal view, in the living position, of this blastoid's theca. The specimen on the left measures 14mm X 9mm. The middle specimen measures 17mm X 12mm, and the largest specimen on the right measures 19mm X 14.5mm.
