Submitter notes: A rare and sought after stemless blastoid that evolved to lay on the substrate. There is only one species worldwide for the genus Eleutherocrinus. This is an oral view, in the living position, showing the one shortened ambulacra of this blastoid's theca. The specimen on the left measures 14mm X 9mm. The middle specimen measures 17mm X 12mm, and the largest specimen on the right measures 19mm X 14.5mm.
