Submitter notes: A close-up view of the phosphate 'shell' of a conularid to the left of the trilobite molt on this shale. The molt is 11.8mm wide for scale. Collected from the Silica formation at the old Martin-Marietta Quarry near Milan, MI. This photo was taken under a stereozoom microscope.
