Submitter notes: These tiny blastoids are collected from the Upper Genshaw of Alpena. The smallest is 5 mm and the largest is 5.72 mm. Two grains of rice are added for scale and the rice is 7.2 mm long. These tiny blastoids are in weathered black shales and are very difficult to find in the huge Lafarge Quarry in Alpena.
