Submitter notes: An oral view of one of the tiny blastoids collected from the Upper Genshaw of Alpena. The specimen is 5.72 mm tall. These tiny blastoids are in weathered black shales and are very difficult to find in the huge Lafarge Quarry in Alpena. This photo was taken under a stereozoom microscope.
