Age: Erian (Middle Devonian)
Submitter notes: Atractocrinus occurs in the upper Arkona Formation. It is always found as just a calyx and rarely with a tegmen. Only one known specimen is preserved with a small amount of arms. The center specimen is 22mm tall. See scale in photo for size.

This is a first-rate picture John! Sorry about the black name on black. I'll update the script so that it shadows the name in gray, as I am currently doing on the paleo-sed picture of the day website. When this is done, the name is visible no matter what the background is like.
