TRILOBITE

Submitted by: John Topor
Taxon: Greenops widderensis
Submit date: 2010-11-04
Location (approximate): Thedford, Lambton, ON
Stratigraphy: Widder Formation
Age: Erian (Middle Devonian)
Submitter notes: It is not uncommon for Greenops specimens to have their pygidium tucked under. A little extra cleaning exposed what first appears to be a tail-less specimen. This trilobite is 21mm wide and is approximately 34mm long if you count the enrolled tail. This photo shows the exposed pygidium of the previous specimen.
