Submitter notes: Finding blastoid multiples is very rare in the Hungry Hollow Mb. This small slab has four specimens. It measures 78mm X 41mm. The largest blastoid is 15mm tall and 9mm in diameter.

Submitter notes: Both of these blastoids were collected from the Mid Devonian, Hungry Hollow formation of Ontario, Canada. The largest is 13.3 mm high by 8 mm wide and collected in 1996. The second smaller is 11.6 mm by 7 mm wide and collected in 1997.

The blastoid is 17 mm long and 9 mm wide.Better examples are shown on this website but these are so rare that all examples should be looked at and any partial collected.It is believed that these blastoids were not attached as adults and able to move independently.
